New signings feature in West Bromwich Albion win

Saido Berahino and Graham Dorrans score the goals as West Bromwich Albion defeat Bury in a friendly fixture.

Summer signings Joleon Lescott, Craig Gardner and Chris Baird all appeared as West Bromwich Albion recorded a 2-0 win over Bury in a training friendly this afternoon.

The League Two outfit held their own during the first half, which ended goalless.

However, the scoring was opened by the Baggies in the 54th minute by substitute Graham Dorrans, who found the top corner with a strike from 20 yards out.

The lead was then doubled 13 minutes from time by England Under-21 international Saido Berahino with a low finish from inside the penalty area.

The encounter was new manager Alan Irvine's first in charge of the club.
