Report: Genoa accept Watford £7m bid for Diego Perotti

Watford have a club-record £7m bid accepted by Genoa for Argentina winger Diego Perotti, according to reports.

Watford have had a club-record bid accepted by Serie A club Genoa for Argentina winger Diego Perotti, according to reports.

The 26-year-old moved to Italy last summer from Sevilla, via a loan spell at Boca Juniors, and scored four goals in 27 matches.

According to BBC Sport, Genoa have accepted a bid from the Hornets in the region of £7m for Perotti, who has two caps for the Albiceleste.

Watford's current record signing is Nathan Ellington, who cost £3.25m from West Bromwich Albion in 2007.
