Nathan Ellington to leave Crewe Alexandra

Crewe Alexandra have chosen not to offer a contract to striker Nathan Ellington.

The 32-year-old has made numerous reserve appearances for the League One outfit this season, but manager Steve Davis has turned down the chance to sign him.

Ellington joined Crewe on an short-term deal in February, making eight appearances for the club last term.

The much-travelled forward names Wigan Athletic, West Bromwich Albion and Watford among his former clubs.
