Renato Sanches is in the Swansea City starting XI for Saturday's Premier League game at Watford.

Swansea City have made three changes to their starting XI ahead of their Premier League trip to Watford.

On-loan Portugal midfielder Renato Sanches has been handed his first start in over a month by new manager and compatriot Carlos Carvalhal.

Tammy Abraham and Sam Clucas are also drafted in, with Wayne Routledge, Oliver McBurnie and Leroy Fer making way.

The league's basement side remain without striker Wilfried Bony, who is out with a hamstring injury.

Watford, meanwhile, have made just one change from the side that beat Leicester City 2-1 on Boxing Day, with striker Stefano Okaka replacing Roberto Pereyra.

Watford: Gomes; Janmaat, Wague, Kabasele, Zeegelaar; Doucoure, Cleverley, Watson; Carrillo, Richarlison, Okaka
Subs: Karnezis, Prodl, Holebas, Capoue, Pereyra, Sinclair, Gray

Swansea City: Fabianski; Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson, Olsson; Mesa, Clucas, Carroll; Sanches; Ayew, Abraham
Subs: Nordtfeldt, Van der Hoorn, Rangel, Fer, Dyer, Narsingh, McBurnie
