Half-Time Report: Watford in control at Ewood Park

Watford take a 2-0 lead in at half time against Blackburn Rovers.

Goals from Matej Vydra and Daniel Tozser have given Watford a 2-0 lead at half time against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

Vyrdra struck his first goal of the season on the half-hour mark when he tucked a left-footed shot into the bottom corner.

Tozser doubled the advantage with a free kick shortly before half time, and the Hornets were good value for the lead after the 45 minutes.

Ealirer in the half, Gianni Munari almost gave the Hornets the lead on 21 minutes but his header from Tozser's cross was well saved by Blackburn goalkeeper Jason Steele.

Jordan Rhodes and Tom Cairney had a couple of quick-fire chances for Rovers inside the first 20 minutes but neither was able to get their shot on target.
