Report: Valencia closing on Enzo Perez

A report claims that Valencia are close to reaching an agreement to sign Benfica midfielder Enzo Perez.

Valencia are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Argentine midfielder Enzo Perez.

The 28-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Los Che in recent months, with a deal understood to be at an advanced stage.

According to Marca, Valencia want all the details confirmed before the end of the year, which would allow Perez to officially join on January 1, 2015.

Manchester United have also previously been linked with a move for the Argentine, who represented his country at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
