Valencia have sacked head coach Pako Ayestaran after just 12 La Liga games in charge.
The 53-year-old, who previously worked as Rafael Benitez's assistant at Liverpool, took over from Gary Neville in March before sealing the job permanently in May.
Pressure recently mounted on Pako's shoulders following defeats in all four of this season's league games so far, which has dropped the team to the bottom of the table.
In a brief statement via the club's official website, Valencia confirmed Pako's exit and revealed that Voro Gonzalez will take over first-team duties for the time being.
Pako's predecessor Neville lasted just four months in charge at the Mestalla in what was his first managing job since retiring from professional football in 2011.
