Team News: Tranmere Rovers name attacking lineup

Ryan Lowe, Jake Cassidy and Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro make up a three-pronged attack for Tranmere Rovers.

Tranmere Rovers have named an attacking lineup for this afternoon's League One relegation clash with fellow strugglers Shrewsbury Town.

Top goalscorer Ryan Lowe will be supported up front by Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Jake Cassidy, as well as Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro.

Meanwhile, midfielders Jason Koumas and Steve Jennings have both overcome injuries to make the starting XI.

Shrewsbury have made one change to their starting XI for the trip to Prenton Park, with Luke Summerfield drafted into the midfield in place of the suspended Asa Hall.

Tranmere: Fon Williams, Pennington, Taylor, Goodison, Ridehalgh, Power, Jennings, Koumas, Akpa Akpro, Cassidy, Lowe

Shrewsbury: Weale, Iorfa, Mkandawire, Goldson, Jacobson, Taylor, Summerfield, Wildig, Parry, Atajic, Eaves
