Mark Cooper, Steve Evans, Simon Grayson, Uwe Rosler contest for League One monthly award

Swindon's Mark Cooper, Steve Evans of Rotherham, Preston's Simon Grayson and Uwe Rosler of Brentford are the four names up for November's League One Manager of the Month.

The nominations for November's League One Manager of the Month have been revealed.

The four names put forward are Mark Cooper of Swindon Town, Rotherham United's Steve Evans, Simon Grasyon of Preston North End and Brentford's Uwe Rosler.

Cooper's Swindon lost just one game last month to league leaders Leyton Orient, winning three against Port Vale, Colchester and Carlisle and drawing the other against Crawley.

The victory over Vale back on November 2 was the most impressive as they put five past a team right next to them in the table.

Evans led Rotherham to an unbeaten month as the Millers moved into the playoff places.

Three was the theme of the month as just three goals were conceded and the three victories all came by three-goal margins over Stevenage, Coventry and Gillingham.

Preston's Grayson has won this award already for September and could certainly add a second monthly accolade after his side also won three games out of five and conceded three goals along the way.

The Lilywhites' unbeaten run is now at eight games and most impressive of all was the away victory at league leaders Leyton Orient.

Finally, Rosler had led Brentford to seven victories in their last eight games, with the one blip being a credible draw at joint-leaders Wolves.

The Bees also kept four clean sheets out of the five games in November. The one game they conceded in was still an impressive come-from-behind victory over fellow high-flyers Peterborough.

The winner will be announced on Friday morning.
