Swansea City are reportedly confident that Federico Fernandez will become a Premier League player before the start of the new season.
The Napoli defender has been touted as a possible replacement for Chico Flores, who is moving to Qatar.
The Swans kick off their league campaign with a trip to face Manchester United on Saturday, but they are hopeful that a work permit will be sorted for Fernandez in time, according to the Daily Mail.
Reports have claimed that terms have been agreed with Fernandez after Napoli accepted an £8m fee.
