Burnley, Wolverhampton Wanderers eyeing Leon Britton deal?

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley are among a host of clubs interested in signing Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton this summer, according to a report.

Championship duo Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley are reportedly interested in signing Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton.

The 32-year-old revealed earlier this month that his 11-year stay in South Wales is likely to come to an end this summer due to a lack of first-team action.

Football League World suggests that a host of clubs below Premier League level have already joined the running to land the Englishman's signature, including both Wolves and recently relegated Burnley.

Britton, who has made close to 500 appearances for the Swans, is out of contract at the Liberty Stadium in two years' time.
