Swansea City manager Francesco Guidolin has insisted that he is not bothered by speculation over his future after the side slumped to their fourth Premier League defeat of the season.
The Welsh side were defeated for the second time in four days by Manchester City to leave them without a win since their triumph over newcomers Burnley on the opening day of the season.
Asked by reporters if his job was safe after the match, Guidolin replied: "It is not important. I know the world of football and I know my job. I will work hard with my team. I have a good relationship with my players and they were fantastic this afternoon.
"If the board have anything to say to me it is easy, they can just call me. If we continue to play this way we have a good future in front of us. I know that after five or six defeats it is not easy, but after today I am confident."
Guidolin took over at the Liberty Stadium in January, comfortably steering the side away from the relegation zone during the second half of last season.
