Garry Monk unfazed by Swansea City form

Swansea City boss Garry Monk is certain that his side's performances will yield results again soon following a run of three games without a win.

Garry Monk has insisted that he is unconcerned by Swansea City's form despite going three games without a victory.

The Swans have lost just one of their six Premier League outings - a 1-0 defeat at Watford - but then slumped to a 1-0 reverse at Hull City in a third-round League Cup exit this week.

Monk's side have not won a game since beating Manchester United before the international break, but the 36-year-old says that the performances will yield results again shortly.

"We always react well when we get setbacks," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We did that well against Everton last weekend and I think it was a really good point in the end and a fair result.

"But we've had one league defeat since we came back for pre-season and we're playing well and doing the right things.

"The effort and commitment is there and we're creating lots of good chances - we were the better side again in midweek against Hull and should have won. We've had good performances apart from at Watford, and I want us to continue with the same attitude and determination that we're showing right now."

City travel to Southampton on Saturday.
