Swansea City reportedly claim that manager Michael Laudrup has not received any contact from Everton with regards to the managerial vacancy.

Swansea City have reportedly stated that they have not received any contact from Everton regarding the status of manager Michael Laudrup.

The Danish coach is thought to be on the shortlist of candidates for the managerial vacancy left behind by David Moyes.

Despite the alleged interest in the 48-year-old, the South Wales Evening Post has claimed that the Swans have been quick to play down any suggestions that Laudrup will leave the club for Goodison Park.

Phil Neville, David Weir and Wigan Athletic boss Roberto Martinez have all been touted as possible replacements for Moyes.
