Stoke City are close to signing USA international Brek Shea from MLS side FC Dallas, according to Sky Sports News.
Shea is understood to have agreed terms with Tony Pulis's side ahead of the proposed transfer.
The deal for the winger is believed to be worth around £3m and the 22-year-old is due to arrive in England at the start of next week.
Stoke are thought to want to see Shea in training action to assess his fitness, after a foot injury left him out of action from August.
Shea has 15 caps for the USA since making his debut in 2010.
