Mark Hughes makes three changes as Stoke City welcome West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.

Mark Hughes has made three changes as Stoke City welcome West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.

Kurt Zouma is able to take his place in defence after shaking off a hamstring problem, Tom Edwards makes his home debut, while Maxim Choupo-Moting also starts.

Erik Pieters misses out with a hip injury, while Ramadan Sobhi and Mame Biram Diouf drop to the bench as the team try to relieve the pressure on Hughes's shoulders.

Alan Pardew, still looking for his first win in charge of the Midlands side, also makes three changes to the lineup that lost 2-1 to Manchester United last Sunday.

Gareth Barry - who scored the Baggies' goal against United - Hal Robson-Kanu and Chris Brunt come in, replacing Claudio Yacob, Grzegorz Krychowiak and Oliver Burke.

Stoke City: Butland; Zouma, Shawcross, Wimmer; Edwards, Allen, Fletcher, Cameron; Shaqiri, Choupo-Moting, Crouch
Subs: Grant, Berahino, Affelay, Adam, Diouf, Sobhi, Souttar

West Bromwich Albion: Foster; Nyom, Evans, Hegazi, Gibbs; McClean, Livermore, Barry, Brunt; Robson-Kanu, Rondon
Subs: Myhill, Yacob, Burke, Rodriguez, Chadli, McAuley, Dawson
