Debut performance disappoints Brek Shea

Brek Shea admits that he is not satisfied with his debut performance for Stoke City.

Brek Shea has admitted that he was not happy with his first performance in a Stoke City shirt.

The American international came off the bench during the 1-0 defeat away at Fulham and went on to win a penalty, which Jonathan Walters missed.

Despite confessing that he is not "100%" fit, Shea has said that he felt that he could have performed better.

"I'm not 100%, but I'm getting better and I'm almost there," he told reporters.

"I just have to keep playing and get back into it. I don't think I played very well, but it's good to get a taste.

"Every team has their own style and the league here is faster so you just have to get used to it."

Shea joined the Potters last month following a four-year stint with FC Dallas.
