Marcus Haber to depart Stevenage

Canadian striker Marcus Haber hands in a transfer request at Stevenage.

Canadian striker Marcus Haber looks certain to leave Stevenage this summer after handing in a transfer request.

The 24-year-old, who played in the Gold Cup for his country this summer, made 46 appearances for the club last season.

However, a statement on the club's official website has confirmed that the former West Bromwich Albion forward has been placed on the transfer list.

"He has been told that the club will listen to appropriate offers for his transfer," read the statement.

Haber has made nine international appearances for his country.
