Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly leading the race for the signature of Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie.
The Ivorian arrived at Camp Nou in the summer but has started just two La Liga matches for the club, as a result of injuries and the form of Pedri, Gavi and Frenkie De Jong.
Spanish outlet Sport reports that Tottenham, Inter Milan and Napoli are interested in a loan move for the 25-year-old, however any move would not happen until next summer.
The report states that the Londoners are leading the race as their proposal includes an 'interesting purchase option'.
The midfielder's salary of €5m (£4.3m) per season, is expected to be a significant stumbling block for any potential move, according to the outlet.
The former AC Milan man would prefer to remain at Barcelona, but if the club wish to sell him, he will reportedly not hinder the process.
The 60-cap Ivory Coast international has scored one goal in 13 appearances so far in all competitions, the opener in a Champions League match with Viktoria Plzen.
