Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on Metz defender Boubacar Traore.
The Lilywhites completed a deal for Traore's teammate Pape Sarr during the summer window, with the teenage midfielder remaining with Les Grenats for the 2021-22 season.
However, Tottenham are supposedly keen to bolster their defensive ranks further in 2022, despite landing Cristian Romero and Emerson Royal in the most recent window.
According to The Sun, Tottenham are closely monitoring the development of Traore, who has already featured eight times for Metz in the current campaign.
The 20-year-old is still waiting for his first cap for the senior Mali side, but the report adds that a call-up to the African Cup of Nations could help him secure a work permit to play for Spurs.
Traore scored his first goal for Metz against Lorient last season, and the centre-back is contracted to the Ligue 1 club until 2024.
