Tottenham Hotspur are stepping up their interest in Middlesbrough full-back Djed Spence this summer, according to a report.
The 21-year-old was a focal part of the Nottingham Forest team last season, playing in 42 of their 46 games in the Championship, while also scoring twice throughout the campaign during his loan period.
Spurs and several other clubs have been monitoring his progress after he helped Steve Cooper's team secure promotion to the Premier League with his performances.
According to The Express, Tottenham are looking to step up their interest in the defender as they look to secure a £15m deal, although Forest are also interested in making his loan a permanent move as they prepare for the top flight next season.
The London club did put together two bids for Spence during the January window, but both of those ended up being rejected by Middlesbrough.
Nottingham Forest have apparently resigned themselves to the fact that the full-back will be joining Antonio Conte's team, particularly after they secured Champions League football.
