Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
The Argentinian is currently at the World Cup where he has helped his side qualify top of Group C, as they prepare to face Australia in the round of 16.
According to Fichajes, Tottenham, Napoli and Atletico Madrid are all showing an interest in the player with the January transfer window on the horizon.
Furthermore, the report also goes on to state that Fabio Paratici, the sporting director of the North London side, is following the situation of Martinez closely, as they search for a long-term successor for 35-year-old Hugo Lloris.
Martinez made his senior debut in 2012 for Arsenal, but then proceeded to go on loan at six different clubs in seven years before getting his break under Mikel Arteta, following an injury to Bernd Leno.
The 30-year-old went on to be a key figure in the club's FA Cup and Community Shield triumphs, before making a move to Aston Villa in September 2020.
During that time he has established himself as Argentina's number one goalkeeper, making 22 appearances since making his debut in June 2021, whilst also helping them to end their 28-year wait to win the Copa America by keeping four clean sheets on route to the title.
