Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly set their sights on Napoli attacker Lorenzo Insigne, who sees his current contract expire in the summer.
The 30-year-old captain will be free to discuss pre-contract terms with other clubs in January but has insisted there is plenty of time to sort a new deal with the Italian outfit.
Following his role in Italy's Euro 2020 triumph, Insigne attracted widespread interest over the summer, with Tottenham Hotspur reportedly offering the largest fee to Napoli, only to see their bid turned down.
According to the Daily Mail, the Lilywhites are now on high alert amidst the uncertainty around the Italian's contract situation, and could quickly swoop in January with an offer if he is yet to agree an extension in Naples.
The winger joined Napoli in 2006 at the age of 15 and quickly rose through the ranks, now reaching over 400 appearances for the side with 111 goals and 88 assists to his name.
