Tottenham Hotspur winger Steven Bergwijn reportedly has a future at Spurs after impressing manager Antonio Conte during training, amid interest from Ajax and Sevilla.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Steven Bergwijn has reportedly been told that he has a future with the Lilywhites, amid interest from Ajax and Sevilla.

The 24-year-old played a crucial part in helping Spurs into the semi-finals of the League Cup on Wednesday, after providing one assist and scoring the other during his side's 2-1 win against rival West Ham United.

While many Spurs players were absent from training earlier this month due to coronavirus, this gave time for Antonio Conte to work specifically with Bergwijn, who is said to have trained very well during this period.

Sky Sports News reports that the Dutch international has earned his place in Conte's future plans in North London, and he will be looking for more gametime in a Spurs shirt.

Bergwijn has made seven Premier League appearances this season, providing one assist in that time, but will now hope for a more regular position in the team having impressed his new manager.

Since arriving at Spurs in January 2020, Bergwijn has managed five goals and nine assists in 63 appearances for the club.
