Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain have still been in contact regarding a potential loan deal for midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 25-year-old midfielder has long been linked with a move away from the North London club ever since he made the move from Lyon in the summer of 2019.
After a public fallout with previous manager Jose Mourinho, the Frenchman has struggled for a consistent run of games in the Spurs side, and current boss Antonio Conte has used him sparingly as well.
As quoted by football.london, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now updated on the situation through his personal Twitter account: "Talks will continue in the next hours between Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain for Tanguy Ndombele deal.
"Spurs will only accept if PSG will cover 100% of the salary until end of the season. Negotiations ongoing. PSG board now in direct contact with Ndombele agents."
As well as PSG, and also Barcelona in recent weeks, Mourinho has also been credited with an interest in a reunion with Ndombele at his new side Roma in Italy.
