Roma manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in reuniting with Tottenham Hotspur's Tanguy Ndombele.
The former Lyon man failed to win over Mourinho during the Portuguese's reign and continues to struggle for minutes in North London under Antonio Conte.
The Spurs boss was coy over Ndombele's future when quizzed in a recent press conference, but a January move elsewhere is being mooted regardless.
Tottenham could supposedly use the Frenchman as part of a deal for Juventus attacker Dejan Kulusevski, but Calciomercato claims that Roma are also in the race.
The report adds that Mourinho is "seriously" considering a reunion with Ndombele, in spite of the 25-year-old's well-documented struggles under the current Roma manager.
Spurs will supposedly demand a fee of €30m (£25.1m) to part ways with Ndombele in 2022, potentially leading Roma to opt for a loan deal with an option or obligation to buy.
Ndombele has only started six Premier League games in the 2021-22 season and has been an unused substitute for his side's most recent clashes with Southampton and Watford.
