Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik.
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed that the club are in the market for a new striker in order to provide more competition for Harry Kane.
The likes of Gareth Bale and Andrea Belotti have been linked with a move to North London, but Football Insider claims that Tottenham are closing in on a deal for Milik.
Spurs have reportedly offered the Poland international a five-year contract worth £90,000 per week, in addition to a £5m signing-on fee.
However, the price tag remains a sticking point in negotiations, with Napoli thought to be holding out for £30m despite Milik having entered the final year of his contract.
Tottenham could therefore wait until January to secure a pre-contract agreement for the 26-year-old, who is understood to have turned down offers of a contract extension at the Stadio San Paolo.
Milik scored 13 goals in 35 appearances for Napoli across all competitions last season.
