Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly lining up a move for Malaga midfielder Santi Cazorla.
The 27-year-old's future with the La Liga club is in doubt following a row over unpaid wages, leading Andre Villas-Boas to pinpoint the Spanish international as an ideal replacement for Luka Modric.
Cazorla, who was part of Vicente Del Bosque's victorious Euro 2012 squad, became Malaga's record signing last summer after moving from Villarreal in a deal believed to be worth around £17m.
He helped Malaga to qualify for the Champions League, but Spanish newspaper AS have claimed that Spurs could now be ready to make their move.
