Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that they completed the signing of highly-rated MK Dons teenager Dele Alli before the transfer deadline.
The 18-year-old has penned a contract at White Hart Lane until 2020 and was immediately loaned back to the League One club until the end of this season.
Alli, who has scored 12 goals from midfield for the Dons this season, is believed to have cost Spurs a total of £5m including performance-related add-ons.
He told Tottenham's official Twitter page: "It's a massive club and I'm really happy to be here.
"I'm really looking forward to meeting all the lads and getting to work with the manager. It's a dream come true.
"I'd love to play for Spurs and at White Hart Lane. It won't be easy and I'll have to fight for my place in the team but I'll work hard to do that."
Spurs reportedly fended off competition from Premier League rivals Newcastle United and Aston Villa for Alli's signature.
