Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly slapped a £100m price tag on winger Gareth Bale amid interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Chairman Daniel Levy has made the move to demand a world record transfer fee in the hope of deterring the Spanish giants along with other clubs from chasing the Wales international in the summer.
The Sun reports that Spurs are determined to keep Bale for at least another season, even if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.
However, this could be taken out of their hands should the 23-year-old demand an exit from White Hart Lane at the end of the season.
