Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy reportedly travels to Barcelona in an attempt to agree a deal to bring midfielder Sergi Roberto to White Hart Lane this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in talks with Barcelona in an attempt to make midfielder Sergi Roberto their first signing of the summer.

The 21-year-old has featured just twice for the Barca first team this season and he is said to be keen on a transfer away from the Camp Nou.

According to Marca, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy visited Catalonia last week to discuss a potential move for Roberto, who has been capped five times by Spain at Under-21 level.

Roberto's current contract is due to expire in June 2015 and it is understood that he is valued at around £7m by his current employers.
