Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly launch a £15m bid for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly try to prise Aston Villa star Christian Benteke away from the Midlands outfit this summer.

It has been suggested that the Belgian frontman is willing to leave Villa Park at the end of the season, which could result in relegation for manager Paul Lambert's side.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is keen to agree a £15m deal for the 22-year-old before the close of the campaign due to the club's unpredictable position in the top flight, according to the Daily Star.

Benteke has netted 14 goals for Villa so far this season.
