Manchester City are reportedly preparing to offer Bernardo Silva to Tottenham Hotspur as a makeweight in a potential deal for Harry Kane.
Citizens boss Pep Guardiola confirmed on Friday that his side are interested in signing Kane this summer, but the Premier League champions could struggle to agree a price with Spurs.
Guardiola has also revealed that Bernardo is looking to leave the Etihad Stadium in the current market, and a number of European clubs have since been credited with an interest.
According to the Daily Mail, Man City are willing to offer Bernardo in any deal for Kane, as the club desperately attempt to reduce Tottenham's £150m asking price.
The report, though, claims that Raheem Sterling is not interested in making the move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and has refused to be a part of any swap deal.
Man City broke the British transfer record on Thursday when they completed a £100m deal for Jack Grealish, but the club are not in the running for Lionel Messi, who is closing in on a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
