Turkish side Galatasaray are prepared to pay Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado his £2.2m salary if the two clubs agree a fee, according to reports.
The 30-year-old has struggled since he moved to North London two years ago, and scored just one goal from seven Premier League starts last season.
The Spanish forward has been linked with an exit from White Hart Lane, and talkSPORT claims that Galatasaray are in the running for his signature.
The report suggests that they will open the bidding for Soldado in the coming weeks and he is expected to cost £9m.
Soldado moved to Spurs for £26m from Sevilla.
