Giovanni dos Santos expresses his desire to leave Tottenham Hotspur for Sevilla.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovanni dos Santos has revealed that he wants to join Sevilla.

The 22-year-old Mexican international has failed to make an impact at White Hart Lane, spending a lot of time away from the club on loan deals.

Dos Santos joined Spurs from Barcelona in 2008 for an undisclosed fee but is now ready to make a return to La Liga.

"Sevilla are in my preferences," Dos Santos told AS. "They are a big Spanish club and I love the possibility of playing for this team although I have many options.

"I want my future to be sorted in the coming days. My intention is to return to Spain."

Spurs manager Harry Redknapp will reportedly demand £5m for the player.
