Jermain Defoe admits that he will consider his future at Tottenham Hotspur after England's campaign in the European Championships.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe has revealed that he may leave White Hart Lane this summer.

The 29-year-old, who is due to fly to Poland and Ukraine with England for Euro 2012 next month, has fallen down the pecking order at the North London club and the forward has admitted that he needs regular first-team football.

"It's a difficult one," Defoe told talkSPORT. "I've never said I want to leave the club, I've just said I want to play. As a forward you just want to get some sort of rhythm and a run in the team. That wasn't the case towards the end of the season.

"I'm just going to see what happens. I'm going to concentrate on England and Euro 2012. The most important thing for me is scoring goals and that's when I'm at my happiest."

There are fears that Tottenham could lose a number of stars this summer following the club's exit from the Champions League after Chelsea secured the trophy in Germany on Saturday.
