Team News: Toby Alderweireld, Kieran Trippier restored to Tottenham Hotspur XI

Mauricio Pochettino makes two changes to Tottenham Hotspur's starting lineup to face Fulham, with Kieran Trippier and Toby Alderweireld returning to the side.

Kieran Trippier and Toby Alderweireld return to Tottenham Hotspur's starting lineup for today's meeting with Fulham at Wembley Stadium.

Both players were absent for last weekend's 2-1 victory at Newcastle United, but Mauricio Pochettino has brought them back in and changed his system.

The Lilywhites will likely revert to a 3-4-3, with Serge Aurier and Moussa Sissoko the men to make way on the back of that opening-game win.

Harry Kane continues to lead the line, despite his goalless run in August now spanning 14 matches following his blank on Tyneside.

In terms of the newly-promoted visitors, Slavisa Jokanovic makes three changes on the back of the 2-0 loss at Crystal Palace seven days ago.

Andre Schurrle, Kevin McDonald and Cyrus Christie all drop out of the side, replaced by Aboubakar Kamara, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and high-profile signing Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, with the latter two making their club debuts.

Fulham have lost eight of the last nine Premier League meetings between the sides, winning the other.
