Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been dealt a blow after Vincent Janssen picked up a long-term injury.
Janssen has recently been stripped of the number-nine shirt at the North London outfit, who were looking to part ways with the Dutchman before the end of August.
According to The Sun, the 24-year-old has now sustained an injury which is likely to keep him out until December.
The development effectively rules out the possibility of a European club looking to secure a loan deal for the forward until January.
Janssen still has two years remaining on his contract, but the player does not feature in the short- or long-term plans of Mauricio Pochettino.
The player spent last season at Turkish giants Fenerbahce, with scoring goals in 17 appearances.
