Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has described the saga currently surrounding Carlos Tevez as "beyond belief".
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini claimed that the Argentinian striker refused to come off the bench during City's 2-0 loss to Bayern Munich last night, although the player has since denied those suggestions.
Redknapp has expressed his sympathy towards Mancini and believes that Tevez's actions "are bad for football".
"It's totally unbelievable," Redknapp told a press conference. "I felt sorry for Roberto Mancini.
"It wasn't right for Manchester City and it wasn't right for football.
"It shouldn't happen and it can't happen. It's beyond belief."
