Lewis Holtby reveals that he chose a summer move to Tottenham partly because Andre Villas-Boas is an "insanely good" manager.

Tottenham Hotspur-bound Lewis Holtby has again heaped praise upon his soon-to-be manager Andre Villas-Boas.

The 22-year-old midfielder has agreed to join Spurs from German outfit Schalke 04 on a free transfer at the end of the season.

He has previously revealed that Lillywhites boss Villas-Boas was a deciding factor in his decision to opt for White Hart Lane over several other potential destinations.

Holtby has continued to hail the Portuguese and when asked why he chose Spurs instead of their North London rivals Arsenal, he said: "[Tottenham] are not a small club and have an insanely good manager."

Schalke have revealed they would be willing to bring forward Holtby's transfer to January if they can agree a cut-price fee with Tottenham.
