Gareth Bale: La Liga would be hard to turn down

Spurs winger Gareth Bale admits that a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid would be a "dream" move that would be hard to resist.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has admitted that a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid or Barcelona would be a "dream".

Bale has been linked with a big-money move away from White Hart Lane on several occasions, with both Madrid and Barcelona apparently interested in securing the signature of the Welshman.

Now the former Southampton player has revealed that he would seriously consider any offer that might come from La Liga's top two clubs.

"If you are talking about Barcelona or Real Madrid, two of the biggest clubs in the world, then it's a bit like Harry and England, it's a once-in-a-lifetime dream," Bale told The Sun.

"If you said to any young player that you could play for Barcelona or Real would they turn it down? Probably not. If a bid was accepted you would obviously have to seriously consider it.

"But that has not happened so, at the moment, I'm just concentrating on Tottenham."

Spurs currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, three points behind North London rivals Arsenal with a game in hand against Swansea later today.
