Emmanuel Adebayor believes that his recent goalscoring form for Tottenham Hotspur has silenced any doubters among the club's supporters.
The former Arsenal striker joined Spurs on a season-long loan deal last month and has since scored three goals in two matches.
Adebayor claimed a brace during today's 4-0 win over Liverpool at White Hart Lane and after the match told Sky Sports News that he is happy with the start of his Spurs career.
"I'm very happy, very delighted," said the centre-forward. "It's always important to score your first goal at home. I have done it already away.
"I know the fans all love me because that's what they're looking for, a player who can score goals.
"I'm very happy that everything is going well for me at this club."
Adebayor also scored during Tottenham's win against Wolves last weekend.
