Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe believes that he and his teammates will face a "tough" test when they take on Norwich City in the League Cup tomorrow.

Tottenham Hotspur frontman Jermain Defoe believes that Norwich City will be "buzzing" when they head into their League Cup tie against Spurs this week.

The North London club take on the Canaries at Carrow Road tomorrow following their 1-1 draw with Aston Villa in the Premier League, but Defoe believes that Chris Hughton's side will be drawing on their winning performance against Arsenal.

"It's another hard game, they had a fantastic result against Arsenal," Defoe told the club's official website.

"I'm sure Chrissie was delighted with that performance and to beat Arsenal, not many teams do that. I can imagine they are buzzing after a win like that. It's another away game for us, another tough game and another must-win game. We're looking forward to it."

Defoe could grab a starting spot in the League Cup clash tomorrow night.
