Gareth Bales is eager for Tottenham Hotspur to advance past Norwich City in the League Cup tomorrow night.

Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has urged his teammates to take advantage of any "weaknesses" that Norwich City have during tomorrow's Capital One Cup tie between the two teams.

Visiting Spurs are considered to be the favourites to advance past the Canaries at Carrow Road.

With that in mind, Wales international Bale has called upon his team to collect a "good result".

"They're a team that works hard for 90 minutes and they're going to give us a hard time, so we'll have to be fully prepared," he told reporters.

"We'll have to sit down and have a look what their weaknesses are. Hopefully we can exploit them and come away with a good result."

Reports have claimed that Bale will be named on the Tottenham bench for the match.
