Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino says that Harry Kane could return from an ankle injury in next weekend's London derby at Arsenal.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that Harry Kane could return to action in next weekend's London derby away to Arsenal.

Kane has not represented Spurs since injuring his ankle in the middle of September, but it had been thought that he could be available to face Leicester City in the Premier League this weekend.

Pochettino has ruled the England international out of the Leicester clash, but has said that the 23-year-old could return in next week's Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen, or against Arsenal in the league next Sunday.

"Harry is not ready yet. It's difficult to know but we'll see. His evolution is great. Maybe for Sunday, perhaps the Champions League," Pochettino told reporters.

Kane scored twice in five league appearances for Spurs this season before picking up the ankle problem.
