Harry Kane was only back in team training with Spurs on Friday and was not selected to play against admirers Man City at the weekend. Nuno refused to give a definite answer on when Kane would make his return to action, but he has not travelled with the squad for this game.

Tanguy Ndombele did not feature in the early stages of pre-season after becoming a father, but the Frenchman is still waiting for his first taste of action under Nuno.
