Paco Alcacer "really happy" with debut

Valencia forward Paco Alcacer says that he was "really happy" to score on his first competitive appearance for Spain last night.

Valencia forward Paco Alcacer has revealed his delight after scoring on his first competitive appearance for Spain last night.

Alcacer, who replaced the injured Diego Costa in the XI for the Euro 2016 qualifier, scored La Roja's second in their 5-1 win over Macedonia in Valencia.

"I'm really happy about the game I've had, for making my debut here at Levante's ground in Valencia, my home," he told TVE.

"On top of all that, I'm happy with my goal and the victory. It's been a marvellous experience."

Alcacer also assisted Sergio Busquets for Spain's third.
