Southampton forward Rickie Lambert has said that he is confident of being called up to the England squad for this summer's World Cup.
Roy Hodgson will announce his 23-man squad for the tournament on Monday, and Lambert admits that playing in Brazil would rank above any of his previous achievements.
"It will probably the most anxious wait in my entire life," he told reporters. "It will mean more to me than anything else that's ever happened in football and something that I would always remember for the rest of my life.
"The last two years have been a dream and it's how I've always dreamt how my career would go. It didn't seem to be going that way and then all of a sudden it's gone as I would have wished for and more.
"I'm confident that I'll be in the 30 but I don't know if I'll be in the 23 yet."
Lambert scored 13 goals in the Premier League as Southampton finished the season in eighth place.
