Southampton have Grzegorz Krychowiak bid rejected?

Sevilla turn down a £12m bid from Southampton for midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to a report.

Southampton have reportedly seen a bid for Polish midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak rejected by Sevilla.

The 25-year-old enjoyed a successful debut campaign with the La Liga club last season and helped them to win the Europa League.

He has since been linked with a number of Europe's biggest clubs, and according to ABC de Sevilla, Southampton have made a £12m bid for his services.

However, the bid was rejected by Sevilla, as they deemed it to be far below their valuation of the player, who has a £21m buy-out clause in his contract.

Krychowiak has made 24 appearances for Poland, since making his international debut in 2008.
