Ronald Koeman rules out Southampton departures

Ronald Koeman stresses that no players will be allowed to leave Southampton during the upcoming January transfer window.

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has insisted that none of his players will be sold during the January transfer window.

It has been suggested that North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are keen to sign Saints midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin next month.

However, when asked about any potential exits from St Mary's Stadium, Koeman was adamant that his squad will remain intact.

"We don't sell in January," he told reporters at a press conference this afternoon.

Koeman's men are fifth in the Premier League, having collected 29 points from 17 outings.
